Move with arrows and jump with space (sometimes you have to kinda wiggle around and mash the space bar for some reason). Viewport dimensions line up with Unity, but this still seems to zoomed in to me.

Ok, I met all of the requirements:


"Requirements:

  • C# script modification, edit or add to existing scripts for unique gameplay.
  • Controllable character or other game object which accepts player input.
  • NPC character which the character can interact with. This could be an enemy you fight or avoid or a friendly NPC that you talk to.
  • Replace art assets, use free assets from the Unity Asset Store or create your own!
  • Implement music and audio.
  • If the character "dies", restart the game scene.
  • Playable build submitted on Monday at the start of class.
  • An ending!"

And managed a couple of the bonus ones:

  • "Create multiple types of NPCs
  • Record and implement your own sound effects"

But I spent so much time figuring out what was broken, that I had to scrap doing a start screen & character animations.
